Il marchio Sebago® nasce a Westbrook, nel Maine (Usa), nel 1946. Daniel J. Wellehan, proprietario di 5 negozi di scarpe della zona, decide di fondare una propria fabbrica. Dalla società con due industriali di calzature del luogo – William Beaudoin e Joseph Cordeau – nasce la Sebago-Moc. Il nome si ispira al vicino lago Sebago, che in lingua indiana Abenaki significa “bacino d’acqua dalla forma allungata”. Lo stesso anno nasce il primo mocassino, il celebre penny loafer, cucito a mano come da tradizione indigena, ancora oggi uno dei best seller del brand.

Had to wait for 15 mins as he'd forgotten & then a woman followed up to find them and he'd sold them to a guy who came in after me... despite me questioning if they were for me when brought out to be told "I was already trying a different size on"... that he'd been told didn't fit. Go elsewhere!

I paid £7 for delivery to receive them, I didn’t like them at all, the photo on the website is different from what I received, I paid £10 for the return, and I only received a refund of £68 out of £74 (they were purchased with Klarna). I paid for delivery both ways, and they still deducted money from my refund.

I wore the shoes for the first time yesterday, for approximately two hours while walking in the street. After this very limited use, I was shocked to notice that the shoes were already significantly damaged (please see attached photos). The condition of the sole suggests a serious quality issue, as it appears extremely fragile and unsuitable for normal use. Given the high price of the shoes and the strong reputation of your brand, this level of quality is extremely disappointing. I returned to the store yesterday to show the shoes and request assistance. Unfortunately, my experience with the store manager was very poor: I found their attitude unprofessional and arrogant, which further added to my dissatisfaction. As the shoes are clearly defective and not fit for purpose, I believe there is an issue with this model’s quality. I am therefore requesting a full refund, as I will not wear them again. See photos!
